Ele is a Professor in the Departments of Pharmacology and the Chair of the Biophysics Graduate Group at UC Davis. She earner her PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Bologna, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Bers Lab at the Department of Physiology, Loyola University Chicago & Department of Pharmacology, UC Davis.
When Ele is not in lab you might find her at the climbing gym, or at one of the East Bay regional parks with her family.

Haibo is an Assistant Project Scientist in the Department of Pharmacology at UC Davis. He obtained his PhD in Biological Physics from the University of Manchester. Before that, he received B.Eng. and M. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China.
After work, Haibo enjoys reading, hiking and playing tennis. He also follows the Premier League.

Yixuan Wu, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Scholar
Yixuan is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Pharmacology at UC Davis. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Geophysics from both the Missouri University of Science and Technology and China University of Petroleum through the 2+2 joint training programs. He then received his MS and PhD degrees in Mathematics with Computational and Applied Emphasis from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. After work, Yixuan likes to do fitness and play basketball.

Charlotte is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Pharmacology at UC Davis. She obtained her Bsc (Hons) in Physiology and PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Manchester. Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys traveling, exploring new places and watching soccer.

Xianwei Zhang, B.S.

Xianwei is a Ph.D. candidate in the Biophysics graduate group at UC Davis. He received his BS in Physics from Zhejiang University in 2017.
When not in the lab, Xianwei likes playing basketball, LEGO, and strategy video games.
Nate is a Ph.D. student in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology at UC Davis. He graduated from Washington State University with a Master of Science in Reproductive Physiology. After work, Nate enjoys hanging out with his dog, playing soccer, and video games.
